I've recently got the game (Need for Speed Most Wanted) but I've kept on having the same problem. Window Mode to Fullscreen mode. It simply can't get into fullscreen mode with all the steps I've done, as I described further down. The game doesn't itself allow me to put it either into fullscreen or window mode.
